About

The PhD Summer School Mont-Soleil 2025 offers PhD and Master students a unique opportunity to explore the implementation of renewable energies through expert lectures, lab visits, and hands-on excursions. Covering key topics such as energy systems, photovoltaics, wind and hydro power, and energy storage, the program provides deep insights into the technical, economic, and societal aspects of sustainable energy. Participants will visit leading research facilities, innovative energy sites, and engage in discussions with top experts from EPFL, ETH Zurich, and BFH. The summer school includes field trips to hydropower plants, PV systems, and pumped hydro storage, fostering interdisciplinary learning and networking in one of Switzerland’s most advanced renewable energy regions. Limited to 25 students, this immersive program is an invaluable experience for those aiming to advance their knowledge in renewable energy
