Course leader

Igor Margan decided to focus on game development and apply his formal education to storytelling and design. He initiated his career by pursuing education at the Machine Game Dev Academy and spent most of his career as a freelancer, before becoming Head of Professional Bachelor Study Program in Game Development.

Students enrolled in higher education above the age of 18.

Course aim

Throughout this dynamic module, you will delve into the basic elements that constitute a game and distinguish between functional and dramaturgical components. International students who apply for this module can take the additional Croatian Language and Culture module for free and earn extra 4 ECTS points. The Croatian Language and Culture module will help you learn the very basics of Croatian and offer an excellent insight into Croatian culture.
