German Language and Culture – Semi-Intensive German Language (A1-C1)

Semi-intensive German language classes on five different proficiency levels: from A1 to C1. Students will have 12 course days overall in Term I, with 6 contact hours per course day.

FUBiS classes make use of the vast historic, cultural, and political institutions and resources Berlin offers. Study and field trips to museums, memorials as well as political and cultural institutions are integral parts of the curriculum.

Target group

A1: students with no or very little previous knowledge of German
A2: students with basic knowledge of German
B1: students who have successfully completed the basic level of German and who have a sound knowledge of German at the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
B2: students who have successfully completed the basic level and the first part of the intermediate level of German and who have a sound knowledge of German at the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
C1: students who have successfully completed the intermediate level of German and who have a sound knowledge of German at the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
