About

The summer course “Hacking Creativity: Theatre, AI and Human Imagination” is a two-week experiential program that explores the intersection of theatre practices, human creativity, and emerging technologies. It aims to develop participants’ creative, communicative, and personal competences by combining artistic expression with innovative digital tools, including artificial intelligence.

The course emphasizes the relationship between technology and the human element, positioning AI as a creative partner rather than a substitute. Participants engage in practical activities such as improvisation, minimal movement, acting, and public speaking, which strengthen both verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Through these exercises, they enhance their intuition, empathy, and ability to express ideas authentically.

The program is structured around thematic modules focusing on emotional awareness, communication, creativity, and media integration. Participants explore emotional release through somatic practices, develop body and voice techniques, and improve interpersonal communication by working on attention, dialogue, and relationship-building. Improvisational and play-based methods encourage spontaneity, risk-taking, and the transformation of imagination into action.

A key feature of the course is the integration of audiovisual media and AI-assisted creative processes. Participants experiment with digital tools to generate texts, images, and ideas, which are then translated into performative and embodied expressions. This approach fosters both creativity and critical reflection on the role of technology in artistic and communicative practices.

Overall, the course creates an open and supportive environment where participants are encouraged to experiment, embrace mistakes, and expand their creative potential. The expected outcomes include increased confidence, enhanced creativity, improved communication skills, and the ability to generate innovative ideas by combining human imagination with technological tools.
