The pinnacle of DSS's language-teaching activities is represented by the annual "summer course." This is a one-month period when the institution plays host to hundreds of international students for the 120-class unit intensive classic course melding language instruction with a broad range of cultural activities.

Target group

The course is designed to attract people from all walks of life who wish to study Hungarian for professional or family reasons or just the sheer fun of it.

Course aim

1. To provide intensive language education for international students from "absolute beginner" to "heritage speaker" levels;
2. To give them opportunities to immerse themselves in a vast array of cultural, recreational, and entertainment activities.
