IBWISE Young Artists In Residence (YAIR) Summer Camp

Since opening in 2006, IBWISE has established itself as a world-leading provider of exceptional IB-revision courses, both online and on-campus in Vienna, Austria.

The IBWISE Young Artists in Residence (YAIR) Summer Camp takes place at our picturesque campus in Vienna, Austria, the Vienna Boarding School Am Himmelhof, and is led by world-class IB arts educators, all of whom carry 10+ years classroom teaching experience and are all also practicing artists in their fields.

During the 4-day YAIR Summer Camp, students receive 22 hours of teacher contact, plus lots of studio time in IB Visual Arts or IB Music. During this time, students will create new work, develop and refine artistic techniques, and visit the many artistic wonders of Vienna itself, including trips to historic art museums and contemporary art performances.

The YAIR Summer Camp integrates seamlessly with our PRE/MID IB Summer Camp, running from July 18th-August 2nd. As such, YAIR students are invited to arrive early to attend additional IB Revision Workshops before the YAIR workshop begin on the 30th.

The YAIR summer camp ends with the “Gesamtkunstwerk,” an exhibition and performance featuring the work of all YAIR students, on display for all of our PRE/MID IB Summer Camp students.
