IHU 2025 Persian Language Summer School

About

The Ibn Haldun University (IHU) Summer Language School Program offers intensive instruction in Persian for students and professionals. This is a full summer term that lasts seven weeks and offers transferable credits. A fully immersive experience is designed to include co-curricular and extra-curricular activities such as conversation tables, study hours, seminars by top scholars on history, politics, literature, and the arts, and cultural events such as film screenings and field trips to historical sites and archives.

Elementary, intermediate and advanced levels are available.
20 hours per week for 7 weeks (140 hours of instruction) - Fully transferable, equivalent to two regular semesters.
Tuition is USD 3000 (USD 2500 for the online program)
Discount (USD 250) available for students recommended by their academic advisors or employers.

The application deadline for the first round is March 21st.

CV
Copy of an official transcript (signed or bar-coded) if you are still a student
Copy of passport ID page
One passport size photo (JPEG or PDF)
One letter of recommendation (if you are applying for a tuition discount)
Housing: Students can stay in IHU dormitories (male and female) for a fee. If you need accommodation, please send contact the school.

The IHU Summer School Language Program is coordinated and developed in cooperation with the IHU School of Languages and the Department of History.
