About

The Innovation Advanced Course 2021 is designed for Economics and Management Ph.D. students, post-docs and young scholars, and provides both theoretical and applied courses covering the following thematic areas: Innovation Economics, Growth Theory, Evolutionary Economics, Labor Economics, Inequalities.
The course is structured as follows. During the morning and the early afternoon prominent scholars and experts working in the fields of interest of the course will provide paper presentations discussing the major theoretical strongholds and illustrating the key elements of the research frontier. During the second part of the afternoon applied STATA classes will be provided, allowing students to go empirically through some of the insights received during the morning.

The Course is oriented to Ph.D. students, post-docs and young scholars.

Course aim

The Innovation Advanced Course 2021 aims at providing a comprehensive set of theoretical elements stemming from the fields of Innovation Economics, Growth Theory, Evolutionary Economics, Labor Economics, Inequalities.
Being on the frontier with respect to their own research area, the lecturers included in the course program will present recent papers giving students important and useful guidance to define their own research project.
