This course guides students about the functioning of the institutions of the European Union, with an understanding of the process legislation at EU level and its application in the Member States.
Eva Rivera earned her Ph.D. in International Law from Charles University as well as a Law degree from Friedrich Alexander University, Erlangen-Nurnberg. A lawyer, mediator and linguist, she has spent 11 years in Puerto Rico/U.S.
Graduating High School Students, University Students, The minimum required age of GSSP participants is 18 years.
All participants will receive an official AAU Global Summer School Certificate at the end of the program.
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
understand the principles and operation of the Institutions of the European Union
understand the basic processes of creating and reviewing legislation in the EU
analyze the contemporary problems of the EU institutions
analyze the problems related to the application of the EU institutions at national and European level.
develop a critical attitude about the European Union Institutions and their practical developments.

After that period, the Global Summer School Program fee is 1400 EUR, not including housing. If you are a student of an AAU partner university, an additional discount might apply.
