In today’s world on any given day there are a score of development projects which are being implemented,
although the problem of evaluating, monitoring these projects may be unsound in some cases. However if there is no evaluation we shall have no idea about the positive and negative outcomes of the implemented project, and thus cannot be corrected later on. During the course the students will be made aware of the background of development assistance and receive practical tools on how to conduct project evaluation. The course focuses mainly on development projects although the methodology taught during the course can be used in most kinds of governmental strategy.
Dr. András TÉTÉNYI, Dr. Viktória Endrődi-Kovács

The goal of the course is to get the students involved in project evaluation and monitoring in a development assistance context. By completing this course the students will be more aware on issues connected to development economics and shall be also provided with the tools on how to make successful bids to various international organizations and development assistance implementing agencies. The course contains both theoretical parts and both practical parts.
