Target group

The target group of this course includes students and early-career researchers interested in economics, behavioral science, and data-driven analysis. It is especially suitable for those who want hands-on experience with experimental methods to better understand decision-making, market behavior, and economic theory in practice. The course also appeals to participants aiming to apply experimental insights to real-world markets, policy analysis, or further academic research

Course aim

Don’t just learn economics – experiment with it.

Dive into the lab side of economics in this hands-on summer course on experimental economics. Through in-class experiments, you’ll experience how economists study decision-making, bargaining, cooperation, and market behavior, then immediately analyze the data and compare it to standard and behavioral theories. By the end of the week, you’ll know how to design simple experiments, interpret their results, and see how they can inform real-world markets and policy debates
