The SPSS software is among the most frequently used software packages for statistical analysis in the area of social sciences. This course will provide a basic introduction to the SPSS software package. It is thus best suited for students who have no prior experience with SPSS (or other statistical software). After completing the course, students should be able to ‘handle’ quantitative data, understand the most common procedures for data analysis and hypothesis testing, and conduct their own analysis in future work.
