About

The aim of this summer course is to provide a systematic and comprehensive overview of the most common procedures and techniques within surgical specialties.

For a period of three days, you have the opportunity to observe clinical care at the hospital where you are paired with a doctor and observe the doctor on set in the clinics focusing on the examination and treatment of surgical patients, as well as time in the operating room.

Along with the observation at the hospital, you participate in daily conferences and discussions. The summer course offers different surgical sub-specialties: urology, cardiovascular surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, abdominal/general surgery, and ‎thoracic surgery.
