Target group

Primarily aimed at Master and Doctorate level students who have some existing knowledge of Latvian as a foreign language.

Course aim

The programme aims to closely connect theorethical issues (language use, language contacts, linguistic cultural analysis research) with practical classes ( in the first part of the day). Every day there are also intensive Latvian language classes (Latvian language practicums). In the afternoons there will be discussions, workshops or field trips ( Ventspils, Liepāja, Rucava, Kolka, Kuldīga).
