About

The management of global supply chains constitutes a critical element of boardroom discussions. In the aftermath of the pandemic, this area has garnered increased attention from business leaders who aim to comprehend the intricacies of operations and reinvent various practices.
The course underscores the importance of designing, managing, and strategizing international supply chain operations in VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) conditions.
The sessions will offer insights into global and contemporary strategies, tools, and techniques essential for managing operations as a coordinated system, leveraging supply chain functions, and leading value creation in the realm of global management.
Overall the course aims to impart operational nuances of global supply chains and managing them under uncertain conditions

Target group

This is a post graduate level course (With basic knowledge about the business)

For non-native English speakers: a B2 level (CEFR) or equivalent is required. Official test scores (e.g., TOEFL iBT 83, IELTS 6.0, TOEIC 790) are not mandatory; a certificate or written confirmation from a language professor at your home university is sufficient

Course aim

After the course, the student would be able to:
• Appreciate the strategic importance of supply chains in global business.
• Evaluate contemporary concepts in global supply chains, including crosscultural practices and their impact on business.
• Implement supply chain frameworks and practices and consider VUCA conditions
• Align critical areas with global operations through new business models.
• Develop and demonstrate problem-solving thinking towards global business issues.
• Evaluate the operational dynamics of supply chain decisions and substantiate them based on the industry application
