About

The Department of Medical Engineering and the International Office invite you to our seventh Winter School in Medical Engineering. The key areas will be: “Medical Simulations, Telemonitoring, Bioprinting and Materials”. There will be workshops, lectures, tutorials, field visits and one day for social activities.

Target group

Students at the end of their bachelor’s/undergraduate studies (eg. 5th semester) are invited to join us for one week and receive 2 ECTS. In addition to lectures and workshops, our program will include field visits and several cultural activities.

Admission requirements for students are:
* Biomedical Engineering or
* Technical Studies with focus on Medicine, Mechatronics, Medical Electronics or similar
* Students preferred at the end of their undergraduate/bachelor studies (5th semester)
* English requirement for students: min. B1

Course aim

Get specified knowledge about:
* Additive Manufacturing and Sample Analysis
* Bioprinting
* Telemonitoring - Biosignal Detection and Transmission
* Myoelectric Control of Hand-Prostheses
