About

The Summer School, organized by the Department of Psychology, Educational Science and Human Movement, focuses on displaced lives and vulnerability in the Euro-Mediterranean area, through various practical activities and theorethical lectures, focused on the refugees/forced migrants at the EU borders and the challenges of human trafficking and modern slavery forms. The life narratives of the refugees and displaced population, experiences of NGOs will be an essential part of the five intensive-studying days of the program. By access to the situation on the ground, the participants will have a unique opportunity to grasp the lives of refugees and displaced population as multisided prospectus of different levels.

Course aim

The University of Palermo Summer School is a one-week international event aimed at international openness, advanced training level and extensive dissemination of the educational offer to high culture institutions in Italy and abroad.
