News Literacy

About

News Literacy is an innovative course, aimed to help its students to become conscious news consumers through applying their critical thinking skills and work with current examples from news media. We are drowning in a tsunami of information in this globalized world. The course teaches how we should engage critically with this increasingly digitalizing world we live in. How do we know if news is real, when is it exaggerated, how can we tell if its sources are dubious, if someone tries to fool us? These skills will be learnt based on news and media, but will be extended to any kind of digital information.
