About

The Summer School offers lectures of scientists in the fields of dynamics of nonlinear systems, medical engineering and physics. Seminars will cover topics such as preparation of scientific publications, computer simulation of nonlinear dynamic systems and will be organized in the research facilities of RTU. Students will be able to visit medical institutions, for example, the Oncology Centre of Latvia (Riga) and industrial enterprises like «Regula Baltija» (dealing with testing banknotes and coins) and «Axon cable» (manufacturing cables for home and aircrafts) in Daugavpils. In addition, interdisciplinary teams will be formed to work on projects. Informal discussions will be held about the modern issues of formation in the field of nonlinear systems, engineering and physics for medicine.

Students from all over the world who are interested in medical engineering.

Course aim

The summer school is aimed at providing a new generation of listeners with the ability to develop interdisciplinary thinking.

Fee info

Fee

700 EUR, The participation fee, covering registration, tuition, accommodation in a student hostel of RTU, meals (breakfast and lunch) and the social program is EUR 700. The participants will have to cover their travel expenses and health insurance.
