Ontology (3rd Edition)

About

ISP/Ontology will provide a diverse and high-quality programme focusing on the classical questions of ontology. The course will foster a rich and lively intellectual exchange by addressing, in a rigorous and clear manner, different philosophical perspectives.
Each speaker will hold three seminars over three days (each seminar will be two hours long, including discussion).
The school will offer cultural evenings where you will have the chance to taste some of the local Italian produce. There will also be the option of a guided boat tour of the lagoon, with dinner on the boat.

Course aim

Our school valorises the unavoidable pursuit of ontology, foregrounding the debate on this classical philosophical question. We do not intend to endorse one particular approach to ontology; on the contrary we have attempted to gather what we consider to be the most interesting philosophical perspectives of our time.
