This course offers participants entrepreneurship education emphasizing the context of a fast-changing and dynamic global environment. It provides participants with a solid entrepreneurship foundation as a way to guide their attitudes and predispositions in adapting to the changes. This course is a theoretical and practical guide to starting a new business, providing participants with exposure to every crucial aspect of entrepreneurship opportunities. For those who do not plan to launch a new business, skills learned can be used in their corporate and non-profit careers. The course exposes participants to the up-to-date concepts, trends, practices, and tools of the entrepreneurial world, integrating knowledge from multiple disciplines, such as sociology, psychology, economics, and business.

Azemina Mashovic, PhD – teaching staff. Azemina is employed as a full-time professor at the Integrated Business Faculty. She has years of experience working in higher education.

The outcome of successful completion of the course include:
• To develop an awareness of the range, scope, and complexity of the phenomena, issues, and problems related to entrepreneurship;
• To build a mindset focusing on developing novel and unique approaches to market opportunities;
• To understand the role of entrepreneurs in developing a business opportunity;
• To understand the difference between necessity-based entrepreneurship and opportunity-driven entrepreneurship;
• To talk about the possibilities as opportunity entrepreneurship;
• To teach how business plans are created to define the business opportunity;
