About
Porto Academy is held at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP), designed by the Pritzker awarded Álvaro Siza.
The one week intensive program consists in the development of an architecture project at one of the 12 workshop studios leaded by international guest architects, 15 lectures also with 3 more international guest architects and visits to architecture reference buildings in Porto.
More than 200 participants from around 60 different countries come from all continents to participate every year at this international celebration of architecture.

Course aim
Presentation of the developped projects during the workshops at an edited publication at the closing party by the end of the week.
This summer school allows contact between architects from all different continents, working side by side with international reference architects.
