Create a Magazine workshop introduces a new and exciting way to create, from scratch, a 12-page magazine full with articles and opinion columns, photos, interviews etc. The thrill of seeing your name printed after the main title of your article and hold your magazine in your hand will be amazing. In the process, as a bonus, you will learn all the methods needed to succeed in Print Journalism.

Ages 13-17

Course aim

Students will build on Journalist and Art Directors skills. Students will report, structure and write longer features in a magazine style which will be available both in print and in digital form. They will learn about the magazine publishing industry and self-marketing. Emphasis will be put on problem solving, and creative thinking will be present in all aspects of the lesson.
