Quality and Organizational Excellence

About

The 1st international Summer School on Quality and Organizational Excellence (SSQOE) invites students, researchers and young professionals in the fields of quality and excellence to gather during one week in a summer course in Guimarães, Portugal. The courses will take place during a full week, with daily classes and several industrial visits, balancing theoretical and practical examples of best practices in the area of Quality. The work will be divided between lectures, team work, workshops and presentations.

Target group

Master and Integrated Masters (preferably 4th and 5th years) students, PhD candidates, post-doc researchers, and young professionals in the fields Engineering or Management, with some knowledge or research experience in the field of Quality and fluent in English.

Course aim

The goal is to bring together people from across the globe, sharing experiences and discussing the present and future of Quality. The program focus on 39 hours of contact, divided between lectures by international speakers and industrial visits to companies with best-in-class practices of quality and excellence.
