The course is designed to help universities develop and critically review their own internal quality assurance and enhancement processes β including institutional self-studies, preparations for accreditations, program-reviews, faculty and course evaluations, evaluation of teaching and learning, quality of management and student services- and coordinate their efforts to ensure that the outcomes and processes of university teaching (including face-to-face, online and blended teaching) meet local and international standards simultaneously.
This one-week, intensive course helps faculty members, university leaders and managers respond to new trends in quality assurance, apply good practices in their own institutional contexts. It offers a systematic consolidation of key knowledge and practical instruments in the design and implementation of quality assurance procedures at universities. Through presentations and discussions of various case studies, participants will learn from course facilitators and peers the challenges of quality assurance procedures and the ways of overcoming them.
Limited number of tuition waivers and scholarships are available.
