For (pre)professional contemporary dancers

In the summer of 2019 the first edition of the Scapino Summer Creative will take place. During two weeks you can participate in an intensive program that contains ballet classes, repertoire workshops and masterclasses. The Scapino Summer Creative offers an inspiring program in which the company’s unique technique and repertoire are in the lead. As a dancer you will be challenged to develop your creative talents, to co-create and to show your identity. You will work with our international artistic team of choreographers, teachers and dancers. The Summer Creative is under supervision of artistic director Ed Wubbe.

You can apply until April 21st, 2019. There is a limited number of 40 spots available. Participants are selected based on education, experience, level of technique and creative development.

Course aim

The program offers the opportunity to improve your technical skills through the ballet and repertoire classes, but you will also work on your creativity in the masterclasses. In the masterclasses you will collaborate with a choreographer and your fellow participants to create your own work.
