This course provides evidence-based strategies for preventing, responding to, and recovering from school violence, with a focus on engaging students, staff, and the broader community. Participants will explore universal, targeted, and intensive interventions to enhance school safety. The course will help participants analyze the causes and risk factors of school violence, apply different levels of interventions, and develop strategies to improve both psychological and physical safety within school environments
David M. Hulac, PhD Winchester Distinguished Professor of School Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado, USA. Dr. Hulac is a former President of APA Division 16 in the United States. He has extensive experience in schoolwide behavioral management, violence prevention strategies, and teacher wellness. He has received university-wide awards in teaching and research, as well as national and international service awards
This course is designed for students, practitioners, school psychologists, educators, and school administrators involved in school safety. Maximum 30 participants to ensure interactive discussions and personalized learning
