The Summer School on Security Testing and Verification is a joined initiative of KU Leuven and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), bringing together expertise to address the growing challenge of securing modern software systems. Cybersecurity attacks frequently exploit weaknesses in software implementations, making effective security testing and verification essential. This summer school provides participants with a concise overview of key research challenges and state‑of‑the‑art techniques for improving software security and reliability.

The program is aimed at PhD students and researchers interested in security testing, software verification, static and dynamic program analysis, fuzz testing, and related areas. Participants will gain both a broad perspective on the field and opportunities to explore specific subdomains in more depth.

The summer school runs over four days, is taught in English, and takes place on the VUB campus in Brussels (Belgium).
