In this course, you will explore the potential of serious gaming for analyzing real-world complex problems. You will learn what serious games are, how games can help decision making and jointly develop, test and facilitate a serious game.

We are looking for motivated participants with an active attitude that want to actively join and cooperate in exploring the world of serious games.
After this course you are able to:
β’ Gain insight in the range of gaming approaches for supporting and analyzing decision-making processes
β’ Understand the implications of working with gaming approaches, for two major purposes:
β’ Understand how gaming approaches can support decision-making in practice.
β’ Understand how gaming can be used for research, to analyze decision-making.
β’ Develop, test and facilitate a game for supporting and/or analyzing decision-making
β’ Reflect on capabilities and limitations of gaming approaches in decision-making processes in supporting decision-making.
Fee
500 EUR, The fee includes the registration fees, course materials, access to library and IT facilities, coffee/tea, lunch, and a number of social activities.
