This summer school on key international law aspects of sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) will be held in The Hague, the International City of Peace and Justice.
The programme will focus on the emergence of SOGI issues in different areas of international law, such as human rights law, refugee law and international criminal law. Special attention will be given to important test-cases that have helped to achieve some international protection against homophobia and transphobia. Several sessions will be in Amsterdam, where EuroPride 2016 and Amsterdam Gay Pride are taking place that week
