The summer school will be a practical and extended site specific performance and technology workshop. It aims to explore performance identity through the body, architectural space and technology.

Throughout the intensive study you will explore and respond creatively to the magnificent architecture in the city of Glasgow; its buildings, streets, parks and monuments, all as potential sites for performance, both live and recorded.

Throughout the summer school you will be supported by dynamic and experienced director, Dr Anna Birch.

Students will be invited to engage with various forms of digital media platforms including video, sound, Skype, stills and video cameras, projection, navigation tools, phone and mobile apps, as well as found space in and around Glasgow.

As a collaborative company you will create a mix of both live and recorded performance installations.

A full course outline can be found on our website.
