Objective
This summer course provides an overview of the fundamentals of European data protection law. It addresses key legal questions related to the application of the GDPR and related instruments, through discussion of legislative developments, case law, and practical case studies.

Participants will also engage with high-level experts who will offer guidance on everyday data protection issues.

It is intended for lawyers in private practice, in-house counsel, and EU or national civil servants seeking an introduction to the field. As preparation, participants are encouraged to complete the e-learning course on data protection available on ERA’s website
