Summer School Health Entrepreneurship

About

The Health Entrepreneurship Summerschool is a two-week program focussing on business development for challenges from health care providers.

The program starts in Delft (The Netherlands) with a creathon to identify the challenges and needs in health care institutes and opportunities for you as entrepreneurs to work on.

These opportunities are further explored in ideation and validation workshops in Delft and will materialise in the second week during workshops in Barcelona (Spain) on go-to market and reimbursement strategies.

Course aim

The EIT Health Entrepreneurship Summerschool aims to collect challenges from the healthcare providers, take them through a robust development process of analysis, ideation and financing, in order to develop targeted solutions, leading to business plan propositions and ultimately new start-ups.

Students will work on technologies/ projects provided in the first week (or can bring their own ides) in international and interdisciplinary teams to develop a minimum viable business proposition. Central steps are: problem/ opportunity identification, market analysis, customer involvement and collaboration, business models, go-to market strategies, financing, funding, pitching and team-building. Personal development is important and in the course of the program students will learn to think and act as an entrepreneur.
