The Summer School “Digital Heritage Visualization: from 3D Acquisition to AI and Web Dissemination” is a 5-day intensive course dedicated to the methods and tools for managing, analyzing, and showcasing 3D data in the field of cultural heritage.
Through an integrated approach combining photogrammetry, neural rendering, machine learning, and WebGL technologies, the course guides participants through the entire workflow: from data acquisition to semantic structuring, all the way to online publication.
Activities alternate between theoretical lectures and hands-on workshops using shared datasets, with the goal of producing concrete, evaluable outputs, including optimized 3D models, neural representations, annotation systems, and interactive web applications. Particular attention is given to the methodological aspects of digital preservation, the sustainability of formats, and the integration of geometry and information.
