Target group

The Summer School is designed for PhD students and junior scholars with research interests in the areas of legislative studies.

If your application is successful, you will be expected to circulate a draft paper two weeks before the start of the Summer School, which you will have the opportunity to present and receive feedback on. You will also be expected to read the assigned literature for each session. Given the intensive schedule, this should be done ahead of the first session.

Course aim

Throughout the two-week programme, you will attend lectures that delve into a wide spectrum of the most relevant topics within legislative studies, covering both substantive and methodological considerations.

By the conclusion of the Summer School, you will become familiar with the core challenges, key literature, and the most recent theoretical and methodological developments in legislative studies.

The Summer School also presents opportunities to connect with seasoned scholars and peers, offering valuable career advice, a platform to present your research, and thorough feedback to propel your dissertation forward.
