The Summer School Transplantation Medicine (SSTX) is an annual 4-day Summer School organized by the University of Groningen (RUG) in collaboration with the University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG). If you're a student in the (bio)medical field who is eager to delve into the intricacies and quandaries of transplantation medicine, especially within the largest transplantation center in the Netherlands, join us for an immersive and informative Summer School.

In 2026, our summer school is expected to take place between 8-11 June 2026, in Groningen. The theme of this year will be: Pioneering to Precision: The Evolution of Transplantation.

SSTX 2026 offers a comprehensive program that combines informative lectures, an engaging surgery and perfusion workshop, thought-provoking assignments to sharpen your scientific thinking, and a vibrant social program.
