About

The International Summer School “Empowering Tomorrow: Sustainable Energies and Entrepreneurship” is a two-week, hands-on program in Munich for participants who want to build solutions and not just talk about them. You’ll work with expert input, interactive sessions, and workshops that move quickly from concepts to application. As part of an international, interdisciplinary team, you will develop a sustainable business idea, create a simple business model, and craft a clear, persuasive pitch. Expect active learning, practical tools (including business model design and storytelling), and excursions to startups and innovation hubs that connect your work to the real innovation ecosystem.

Target group

This program is a good fit for master’s-level students (or equivalent) who want to explore sustainable energy and entrepreneurship in a practical way. Students from business, engineering, sustainability, and related fields are welcome. You don’t need a specific major! What matters is curiosity, motivation, and a willingness to work intensively in a team and take part in discussions and workshops in English.

Course aim

This course is designed to help you turn interest in the energy transition into real entrepreneurial thinking. By the end, you will be able to spot opportunities in sustainable energy, develop a strong early-stage business concept, and communicate it in a clear, convincing way. You will practice working in diverse teams, use key business model tools, and learn how to pitch your idea with confidence using simple storytelling techniques.
