About

The International Summer School Sustainable Management 2021 is a 10-day intensive training organized by Odisee University College, HOGENT University, KU Leuven and supported by VLIR-UOS.

This ten-day intensive training (5 days on-site, 5 days online learning) will take place (on-site) from September 6th until September 10th, 2021. The summer school connects business and NGOs with students to increase their awareness for sustainable business opportunities and provide them with knowledge and skills to translate innovative ideas into viable and sustainable business initiatives. A blend of guest lectures, teamwork, field visits and social activities provides a full and varied program.

This year’s theme of the summer school is the banana industry. The summer school offers insights in topics such as: sustainable financing, sustainable HRM, sustainable business models, and other relevant topics related to the main theme. Students will work on real life business cases addressing sustainability issues from a business-oriented approach.
