Our course "Horticultura protegida sostenible: sistemas de cultivo sin suelo e hidroponía" offers you specialized training in the fundamentals of protected horticulture, hydroponics,
fertigation, biological control, greenhouse climate control, and green chemistry. One of the strengths of our course is the alternation of a theoretical part with professional visits to the best companies specialized in this field (once a week), including complementary academic activities outside the classroom. At the end of our course, you will possess great knowledge of sustainable Horticulture, as well as being capable of carrying out an integral project independently.

Besides the academic content, our Study Abroad courses include an attractive cultural program full of cultural activities and trips especially designed for you, so you can make the most of your stay in our city and university!

1. Training senior technicians capable of meeting the most modern challenges in the field of protected horticulture and especially in soilless and hydroponic cultivation

2. Training professionals in the sector to deal adequately with problems of climate control, fertigation, and minimum contamination; while maintaining climate control, fertigation, minimum pollution, and maximum respect for the environment

3. Learning the methodology and techniques to make a protected horticulture agro-ecosystem as competitive as possible

4. Learning and use commercial climate control and fertigation software

5. Visiting commercial representative installations of protected horticulture in the Mediterranean slope
