About

This course introduces students to the key concepts and production techniques used to create compelling drama for both television and online video platforms. Students will learn a range of practical skills such as idea generation, script writing, television production techniques, and more. Previous production skills are not required as a team of experienced staff and technicians will be on hand to assistant.

Course aim

The course focuses on professional ‘real world’ practice and takes place in the state-of-the-art television studios of the University’s Parkside building. Students will also have access professional filming and editing equipment.
