From script to screen, students are introduced to the ways a Television News Department operates and how news stories develop. This is an exciting journey of knowledge, regarding the complicated mechanisms that make a TV news room function.

Course aim

Students will get to know the workflow of a TV News Dpt. and how a story becomes a news segment. We also examine Modern Journalism ethics and how it should be applied in News coverage. By the end of this workshop, students will know how to simulate a News Room workflow, write short stories and broadcast them, present news in front of a camera and understand the concept of time in modern broadcasting.
