Our summer programme offers undergraduate students with the opportunity to work for 9 weeks in laboratories at the life science campus Grosshadern-Martinsried and beyond. The students will be involved in hands-on research guided by leading scientists and their teams, using state-of-the-art methods and addressing the latest scientific topics. Possible research topics are within the fields of biochemistry, structural-, molecular-, cell- and developmental biology, cellular and organismic neurobiology, computational neuroscience, and physiological sciences. The opening retreat, the social group activities, and the international composition of the participants will make this programme a memorable experience.
See on our website.
Eligible to apply for the Amgen Scholars Programme in Munich are undergraduate students who are enrolled at European colleges and universities,* have not completed their bachelor's or first degree prior to termination of the programme in September, regardless of their field of studies (this translates to still having coursework to complete for their bachelor or first degree after the programme end in September), are interested in pursuing a PhD.
The Amgen Scholars Programme complements this by giving undergraduates the chance to be part of this exciting research environment for approximately 9 weeks.
