The Development of a Critical Attitude: Deconstructing To Transform

About

This course is aimed at reflecting on the ideology, the construction of identities and the representations of facts and languages that emerge in the neoliberal hegemonic discourses (addressing multiple areas of society: health, culture, interpersonal relations, labor relations, digital communications, etc.), starting with examples from the most immediate social context and then widening the circle. It also seeks to develop critical intercultural competence, with a key question: what is culture? Topics, cultural misunderstandings, stereotypes and prejudices surrounding identities will be examined
