About

The neurobiology that underpins neurodegenerative disease has been a focus of intense and exciting research activity over the last several decades. On this course, you will explore the most cutting-edge research in early diagnosis and treatment.

Target group

This International Summer School programme is aimed at 18+ international students from all over the world, including international students currently studying in the UK. This course is based on a University of Southampton postgraduate module and is designed to give you a taste of postgraduate life and education at Southampton.

Course aim

On this course you will learn about how that neurobiology is harnessed to identify treatment and to create sensitive tests for early diagnosis of disease. This will be illustrated through the case study of Alzheimer's disease.
