About

This interdisciplinary course explores the role of psychological processes in the causes of climate change, our experiences of it, and how we can create individual and systems change to address it. It is designed to empower you to take action, to talk about climate change, and to contribute to healthier, more sustainable, and more equitable societies.

Admission requirements
You need to be comfortable with reading English language scientific journal articles from various disciplines.

Learning objectives
After this course, you will be able to:

1. Describe the role of psychological processes in climate change
2. Describe systems factors that shape human behaviours contributing to climate change
3. Describe effective climate change mitigation strategies
4. Apply communication strategies to talking about climate change
