About

A 3-day workshop, led by Dramaturge/ Research Associate Luke Pell and Producer/ Artistic Associate Nadja Dias (Choreography, Dance & Disability Arts Team at HZT Berlin) aimed at those that want to center anti-ableist working methods in their practice, those who want to consider and embed access as part of their creative practice, and those who identify as disabled, neurodivergent, living with chronic health and/or long-term health conditions or share other underrepresented experience and practices.

artists of all diciplines, age: 18+

Course aim

In this workshop we will:

Introduce some of the critical thinking and disability justice principles that underpin our work
Draw on participants individual artistic interests and projects and their specific lived experiences, centering disabled, neurodivergent and queer experiences.
Explore how we can utilize models of access to develop strategies for artistic development, producing and making.
Introduce participants to tools for producing, access and artistic development and share our working strategies that encourage working with diverse teams.
