The International Summer School for Advanced Studies focuses on an in-depth analysis of themes concerning “sustainability” while restoring buildings in a historic context. Awareness of the importance of our cultural heritage and of its role in the economy is an essential prerequisite to guarantee the sustainability of any restoration work, making it possible to compare our culture to different ones.
