About

The course aims to highlight the crucial role of plants in the physical, chemical, biological, and socio-cultural processes that sustain life on Earth, with a particular focus on human life.
To complement the lecture programme, field trips have been organized to translate knowledge into practice. These include a guided tour of the University Botanical Garden in Padua and a visit to the Lucio Susmel Alpine Environment Study Centre in San Vito di Cadore, featuring forest experimental site explorations

Master's and PhD students
Maximum 25 participants

Course aim

Supported by an intensive and interactive programme, the course will focus on specific thematic categories, from fundamental properties (plant structures and functions) to interactions with the environment and humanity (plant–environment interactions; plants, climate change and food production; sustainability)
