About
Our 3-week summer program offers a variety of bachelor and master courses in English taught by renowned lecturers and researchers.
Students can choose one to two courses from the course list that is credited for 6 ECTS/ 3 US credits.
With the course of their choice, they are getting the additional course Croatian studies that are credited
for 4 ECTS/2 US credits for free.
Croatian studies course includes in-class hours and field trips as part of cultural education.
Apart from the in-class academic program, ZSEM international summer school offer a variety of educational and fun field trips as a part of additional and free Croatian studies course. This includes visits to Croatian cultural, business and political institutions. The rich social program is done through the extensive ZSEM summer buddy program.
Target group
Our summer program hosts students from all over the world who are interested in spending three weeks learning and experiencing academic excellence in beautiful Croatia.
Everyone who is interested and is currently and enrolled student can apply; there are no formal conditions (besides motivation).
The Summer School is targeted towards undergraduate and graduate students. Moreover, there are several courses offered for master level students as well.
Courses are conceived for those who need to deepen and widen their knowledge. The majority of the participants in the past were undergraduate students and young graduates (from academia and research institutions both public and private).

1400 EUR, The tuition fee (not including students from ZSEM’s partner universities)* includes: -Variety of bachelor and master level courses in English (6 ECTS/3 US credits) in the field of economics and business Croatian studies course (4 ECTS/ 2 US credits) as an additional free course held in Zadar Monday, June 22, Welcome dinner Saturday, June 27 – Tuesday, June 30, 4-day excursion to the coastal city of Zadar* where students will visit successful companies and one of the largest tuna production factories in Croatia Saturday, June 27 – Visit to the national park Plitvice lakes- one of 7 natural world wonders Sunday, June 28 – free day Monday, June 29– Full-day boat excursion to Kornati islands (lunch and drinks included) and visit to the Pelagos NET tuna farm Tuesday, June 30, 9 am – 1 pm– Croatian Studies lectures at the University of Zadar (leaving back to Zagreb at 7 pm) Friday, July 4 – free day Friday, July 10, 10 am Graduating ceremony & breakfast Weekly lectures from visiting speakers from the business community Visits to companies, museums, and Croatian Parliament Rich social activities through ZSEM summer buddy program *3 nights of accommodation in Zadar are included in the tuition fee. Students are staying in a newly built modern hostel. Neat & clean:)
