Tinbergen Institute & Business Data Science Summer School

Tinbergen Institute is the Graduate School and Research Institute for Economics and Businessof Erasmus University Rotterdam, University of Amsterdam, and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

In the summer of 2025, we are offering courses in various areas at our selective and small-scale summer school. All courses will take place on campus. Our summer school courses are taught to the Tinbergen Institute's high standard and are academically rigorous. Applications are open!

Summer School in Deep Learning

Courses 2026

This one-week Deep Learning course covers theoretical and practical aspects, state-of-the-art deep learning architectures and application examples. The lectures will introduce to students the fundamental building blocks of deep learning methods and the weaknesses and strengths of the different architectures.
